Our Quick Pony Sports Turf Compost provide many of the same results our gardeners and growers experience, with the addition to tailor our product to your needs, such as a higher nitrogen content (if requested) as well as high quality sands to aid in aerification, topdressing. Our Turf blend helps you craft a dense, uniform turf. It will also help your turf recover faster from heavy use and high traffic.

An added bonus of our compost is it is finely screened and won’t damage your reel units. Turf mower reels can range from $400-$1,100 each, not counting the cost of replacement bed knives and the labor involved in these repairs. Working for a decade in the sports turf industry we understand the impact of not only damaged equipment, but also the expense and stress of downtime.

Being based out of Gainesville Texas, we are deep in the heart of horse country. We service many equine facilities from Cooke, Grayson and Denton Counties. At Quick Pony Farms we recycle the material and keep it from going to waste in a landfill. This also helps us keep operational costs more affordable. Landfills charge by the ton ($45 per ton currently), plus the cost of transportation to the landfill. The weight of manure adds up quickly. Our rates are figured purely on our expenses.
